Board Rush - Students will brainstorm about what they know regarding the United States.

Lecture

Students will see the PPT describing a variety of things to do and see across the United States.

10 min

Activity

After each pair of sights and activities, students will talk with a partner about which site they would prefer to see if they had to only choose one. Students will then have an opportunity to share their partner's favorite things to do and see with the class and why it was their preferred choice.

15 - 25 min

Single file line of four teams. The person at the front of the line answers for the team.

A picture representing an item from lessons 1 - 4 will appear on the board, along with a clue. The first person to name the correct English word wins the round.

The winner goes to the back of their line. The other three players sit down.

The team with players remaining at the end of the game is the winner.
